Recommended for the cleaning of weld joints, has a paste consistency which ensures good adhesion and reduces the danger of splashing. Suitable for the cleaning of weld seams and smaller surfaces, has a gel consistency to ensure good penetration of the steel surface. Used to remove the oxides on aluminium prior to welding in order to avoid porosity. Specially developed for the cleaning of high alloy steels such as duplex and Avesta Sheffield SMO grades. Offers a soft pickling reaction and thus protects sensitive surfaces from shading; suitable for standard steels such as AISI 304; has a low acid content. Suitable for the cleaning of larger stainless steel surfaces trhough spraying; has a thixotropic consistency which facilitates its application. Used for cleaning stainless steel components through immersion; gives an excellent surface finish. To be mixed with between 1-03 parts of water depending on the steel grade. Recommended for use prior to the pickling of stainless steel parts that have been contaminated with oil or grease, etc. Used to treat the rinse water after pickling in order to adjust the pH-value and to remove metals from the effluent. Ensures corrosion resistance after mechnaical desaling such as blasting, grinding, polishing, etc. removes flash-clouds from sensitive steel surfaces. |
